Jed and Kristen welcomed their little girl on Tuesday (Feb. 1st) morning and she is a gem! Stephen and Jake have been talking about her arrival for the last 6 months and were so excited to meet her. However, kids were not allowed in post partum so Stephen was left very disappointed and instead had to wait until Sunday to meet her.
Jake was fairly indifferent to little Laila (probably because she was asleep and not entertaining him) but Stephen was quick to warm up to her. Kristen keeps her all wrapped up so when she asked Stephen what he thought of her he said "She doesn't have any arms." So, we unwrapped her and he spent a good 10 minutes just playing with her fingers and kissing them. He did a great job of holding her all by himself, too! I think he could have sat there all day cuddling with her. I think he is ready for another baby in the house:-)
