The Swing Set

After two months of working on the swingset I am happy to announce that it is finally finished!!!  We bought the set at the end of February and our friend Jed was good enough to come over and help get it started.  They guys got as far as organizing the pieces and putting together the steps and slide.  After that Blaise was putting together a piece here and there on the weekends in between writing papers and spending time with us.  Finally, we called a bunch of friends and had a Sunday lunch/swingset building party.  So, with plent to eat and drink and lots of great friends to spend time with we got the swing set completed.  Thanks so much to all our friends for helping out and making it a great day!

 While waiting for their swingset to be complete, Stephen, Jacob and their friend Reese enjoyed the sprinkler (with it being in the 80s and 90s and a rocky backyard, a sprinkler is the best option for our cool activity).  They were pretty funny running through the water.  Reese would turn the sprinkler off and wait for Stephen to get up close to it and turn it back on so he would get a face full of water.  Luckily, he didn't mind:-)  Reese has quickly become their favorite person.  As you can see they love doing a lot of things together, especially going to different parks together.
