El Paso!

So we took a long weekend over the 4th of July and drove to El Paso, TX to visit Blaise's sisters and their families.  We drove the whole 12 hours on Thursday, June 30th, stopping in Phoenix for lunch.  The boys did an excellent job!  They colored, talked, played with cars and watched only one movie.  I was very impressed. 
We arrived in Anthony, TX at the Ribas household that evening and had a quick dinner followed by baths and bedtime.  Six little boys in one house makes for some crazy bedtime rituals.  But we managed it all.  Poor Frankie got the worst of it with allergies.
Friday we all went to the pool and had a great time swimming.  We stopped at home for a quick lunch and the boys went to see Cars 2 with their cousins, Daddy and Tio Sebas.  They returned with excellent reviews.
We were able to sneak some time in with the Posner's as well, having dinner with them and David and Nicole.  Luckily, Matt was happy to take a break from studying to join us for some family festivities. 
Sunday was Mass, breakfast and goodbyes.  We headed out before noon and made our way to Phoenix, passing Texas Canyon and driving through dust storms from Tucson to Phoenix.  We stopped in Phoenix for the night and got a chance to go swimming.  Frankie got his first taste of the pool and LOVED IT!  The boys had a great time and after a good nights rest we were ready to finish our trip on Monday.
Upon our return we planned for fireworks at Aliante Station Casino with some friends and the boys got to hang out with their friends Sierra and Addison.  From our end of the city we were able to see all the Station Casino fireworks plus the displays from Mandalay Bay and Ceasar's Palace.  Needless to say, it was fairly awesome.
